Surgery Update

by hereigoagain @ 29/10/2007 - 05:58:56 pm

Had the surgery - didn't go as well as planned.

Took 4 hours and have had lots of problems since  I'm still not supposed to be using my arms and it's still painful after 5 weeks, but they are much much better than they were.

Unfortunately it looks like the left one will have to be done again, but I'm still thinking about it.

On another note I shall be in the "Fit Squad" in "The Sun" newspaper next week.

Hope everyone is well :D :D :D

I'm sorry it didn't go as well as you hoped, but perhaps it will look better once the areas have all healed. Don't lose heart.

pleased you're okay - as Ms RockChick above said - once they're all healed, things might look better..

I think I'm just disappointed that its not as perfect as I imagined it would be - but it's a whole lot better than it was :)

I wondered why we hadn't heard sooner - so sorry to hear things didn't go as planned, you deserved that it should have gone better. Hope things start looking up soon. I can understand that you don't fancy going through it all again; maybe when the wounds have settled down it won't come to that. Thinking of you and wishing you well. XX

Thanks Liz.

I am feeling much better and have even been brave and bought a sleeveless dress for a wedding I'm going to on Saturday. I still have massive scars, but I'm sure people will be more interested in the bride than studying me :))
